User Status Settings

Status Description

Available (Normal). This status indicates to others that you are available for communication.

Away (Far From Chat). This status indicates that you are temporarily away from your computer. Your state can be automatically set to the 'Away' on screen saver start.

DND (Do Not Disturb). This status indicates to other users that you do not wish to communicate at the moment.

Offline (Not Available). This status indicates that you are disconnected from the messenger. You are not available at the moment.

Auto Answer Overview

You need not leave your colleagues waiting for a reply when you are away from your computer. You can easily turn PopMessenger into a message answering machine. It will receive messages while you are away and will automatically respond with a message of your choice. You can customize the "Auto Answer Message" text for each status. In addition, you can fine-tune every status mode by enabling "Use Auto Answer", "Bring Incoming messages to top" or "Do not receive any messages" options. However, we recommend you to keep the default settings.
